NANCY B. PRIAL, CFA, joined Burridge Growth Partners in March 1998 as
Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer. In her capacity as
the CIO of the Burridge Growth Equity portfolios, she is responsible for
all investment decisions, conducting bottom-up research on stocks and
directing the research efforts of three analysts. Burridge Growth
Partners manages investments in the small and small to mid-cap sectors
of the market. Previously she spent four years with the Twentieth
Century division of American Century Investors, a large mutual fund firm
best known for the management of small and mid-cap growth stocks. Prior
to that, Ms. Prial spent 10 years with Frontier Capital Management as a
fundamental analyst and portfolio manager. She began her career as a
technology analyst, eventually adding other industries and ultimately
becoming the investment manager for the firm’s mid-cap portfolios. Ms.
Prial graduated from Bucknell University in 1980 with a Bachelor of
Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Mathematics. She earned her MBA from Harvard Business School in 1984.
Between undergraduate and graduate school, she worked as a product
planner at Agere (a spinoff of Lucent Technologies). Ms. Prial lives in
the Chicago area with her husband and two children. When time permits
they enjoy sailing, skiing and travel.
