MICHAEL ERIC SLADE is Chief Executive of Helical Bar plc, a UK-listed
property development and investment company. Helical Bar mixes high-
margin commercial development with an actively managed investment
portfolio. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the many sports enjoyed by
his family and heavily involved in raising funds for charity. He ran his
fifth London Marathon in April 2002, raising sponsorship in aid of
Mencap. He is President of Land Aid, a property industry charity raising
funds for the homeless.
