Michael E. S. Gayed

MICHAEL E.S. GAYED has over 16 years of experience on Wall Street. As
Chief Investment Officer, Mr. Gayed portfolio management process
integrates economic, fundamental and quantitative analyses. Prior to
founding Woodford Gayed Management, Mr. Gayed was a Senior Market
Analyst at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, Inc. where he advised senior
financial consultants on portfolio strategies, industry outlook and
stock selection. Mr. Gayed began his career as an Engineer, working for
Xerox and then IBM. He has lectured extensively at the New York
Institute of Finance, New York University and St. John’s University and
is a regular guest on the financial channel CNNfn. Mr. Gayed is also an
accomplished author, having published two books for the New York
Institute of Finance/Simon & Schuster: ‘Intermarket Analysis and
Investing,’ a reference book on integrating economic, fundamental and
quantitative disciplines, and The Challenge of a Generation – Beyond the
Crash of ’87’. He is a member of the Association for Investment
Management and Research (AIMR) and the New York Society of Security
Analysts (NYSSA). Mr. Gayed earned his M.B.A. in Finance from New York
University in 1980.
