Michael E. Cherry

MICHAEL E. CHERRY is President & Chief Executive Officer of Computer
Automation Systems, Inc. Mr. Cherry began his business career with
Rockwell International. He was placed in an executive training program
for a period of three years. During that time he worked all phases of
the business, including accounting, personnel, engineering, quality
assurance, production control, manufacturing, shipping and purchasing.
Upon completion of his training program, Mr. Cherry was a Plant Manager
in charge of all production and sales, which amounted to $100 million
annually. Mr. Cherry was also part of a special task force for Rockwell
International assigned to open and trouble shoot plants in Glasgow,
Scotland and Barrie, Canada. In 1980, Mr. Cherry joined Computer
Automation and was responsible for the manufacturing of all Computer
Automation products in the United States. In 1983, Mr. Cherry left
Computer Automation to begin his own company, C.P. Industries, a company
he formed for the purpose of sub-contracting the manufacturing computer
boards and provide maintenance to the Computer Automation systems both
domestically and abroad. After eight years of successfully running his
company he was approached by Computer Automation to purchase the company
and become President of the new entity. One year later, Mr. Cherry
approached the Board of Directors of Computer Automation and purchased
the manufacturing rights and software rights to all the Computer
Automation products worldwide. In 1994 Mr. Cherry joined Cytec
Corporation whereby he set up manufacturing and service facilities to
service his long-term client list of Computer Automation. He has a
Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska Industrial
Management & Business Administration.
