Maurizio Carli

MAURIZIO CARLI runs operations in Europe and is responsible for managing sales,
marketing, finance, customer support, professional services, and
administration throughout the region. Before joining Business Objects in
December 2002, Carli was vice president of software for IBM, based in Paris
and managing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this position he was
responsible for all IBM software activities in the area, including sales,
marketing, technical support, finance, and human resources, and managed
more than 5,000 employees. Prior to that, Carli was vice president and general
manager for the IBM Tivoli Systems Division, and also held sales and sales
management positions in government, education, and healthcare for IBM.
