Matthew W. Hardey

MATTHEW W. HARDEY joined Newpark Resources, Inc. as its Treasurer in
1988, following 15 years in commercial banking. He assumed the role of
Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer in 1991. He is a
Louisiana native and a 1973 graduate of Louisiana State University,
where he studied Economics and Finance and received a B.S. degree.
