Mark McDade

MARK MCDADE, CEO of Signature BioScience, Inc., joined the company from
his position as President and Chief Operating Officer of Corixa
Corporation. At Corixa, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief
Operating Officer since the company’s inception, and as President and
COO since March 1999; he will remain on the Board of Directors, while
resigning his executive position by year-end. Prior to co-founding
Corixa, Mr. McDade served as the Chief Operating Officer of Boehringer
Mannheim Therapeutics, the pharmaceutical division of Corange Ltd. His
prior experience includes various management positions with Sandoz Ltd.
Mr. McDade also serves on the Board of Directors of Valentis, Inc., of
Burlingame, CA. Mr. McDade graduated from Dartmouth College and received
his MBA from Harvard University.
