Manuel D. Medina

Manuel D. Medina is Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and
President of Terremark Worldwide, Inc. Mr. Medina founded Terremark, for
which he has served as the Chairman of the Board, CEO, and guiding force
for the last 20 years. In addition to Terremark’s extensive business
activities, real estate developments and holdings, Mr. Medina has
established a reputation in South Florida as a highly respected and
politically, socially and charitably active member of the business
community. As a result of his travels and business activities over the
last 25 years, Mr. Medina has developed an extensive network of
contacts, investors and politically influential business people in Latin
America and Europe. Mr. Medina also serves as Managing Partner of
Communications Investors Group and is a member of the Board of Directors
of Fusion Telecommunications, Inc. Mr. Medina worked his way through
college, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting
from Florida Atlantic University in 1974. As a Certified Public
Accountant, Mr. Medina worked with the Miami office of Price Waterhouse
& Co., where he traveled throughout South America as part of the audit
practice. His duties included troubleshooting and fraud audits for his
firm’s clients. After several years as a practicing CPA, Mr. Medina made
his first entrepreneurial move, establishing his own independent
financial and real estate consulting company. In connection with the
consulting business, he traveled throughout Europe and Latin America and
represented investors from those regions in Florida-based real estate
acquisitions.
