Loek De Vries

LOEK DE VRIES is Chief Executive Officer of Royal Ten Cate NV. He was
appointed on the Executive Board of Royal Ten Cate in October 1998,
responsible for the sector High Grade Textiles, after having served the
company in various positions since 1990. He started as general manager
at TC Technical Fabrics and TC Protect, two companies he turned around
quickly and then moved on to become the group director of one of the
best performing groups within RTC, TC Advanced Textiles. Prior to
joining RTC Mr. de Vries was a divisional board member at Holec
Nederland and Member of the Board of Wilma Vastgoed. In both capacities
his main responsibilities were (international) marketing, finance and
business development. Mr. de Vries is a twofold graduate of the
University of Twente, holding degrees in Engineering and Business. He is
married with two children and lives with his wife and family in Twente.
