Lawrence C. Smith

LAWRENCE C. (LARRY) SMITH, CFA is Senior Portfolio Manager of Windsor
Financial Group, Inc. Larry Smith has managed equity portfolios for 15
years using his small to mid cap value/contrarian style. Larry joined
Windsor Financial Group, Inc. in 1996. Prior to Windsor, he was a
portfolio manager at First Bank’s First Asset Management where he
managed assets for individuals, institutions and a highly rated mutual
fund — First American Special Equity Fund. Larry is well known for his
special value/contrarian equity style. His approach seeks small and mid-
size companies that are undervalued and out-of-favor by investors.
Historically, Larry’s conservative equity style has consistently
outperformed market benchmarks with less volatility. Larry has an
undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College, an MBA from Columbia
University and is a CFA. Windsor Financial Group, Inc. is a privately
owned registered investment advisor based in Minneapolis. Windsor
manages over $1 billion in assets for individuals, foundations,
retirement plans, corporations and community banks.
