Laurence G. Sellyn

LAURENCE G. SELLYN is Executive Vice President’Finance and Chief
Financial Officer of Gildan Activewear Inc. Mr. Sellyn joined Gildan as
Chief Financial Officer in April 1999. He has previously held the
position of Chief Financial Officer and other senior level corporate
officer positions with long established Canadian public companies not
involved in the textile and apparel businesses. Mr. Sellyn is a
Chartered Accountant who qualified with KPMG, and previously obtained an
MA from Oxford University.
