Larry Franklin

LARRY FRANKLIN, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Harte-Hanks,
Inc., joined the company in 1971 in the Accounting Department. In 1972,
he was named Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer; in 1974, Vice
President-Finance/Treasurer; 1978, Senior Vice President and President
of Newspaper Operations; 1980, Executive Vice President; 1984, Chief
Operating Officer; 1991, named President and Chief Executive Officer;
and 1999, named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Franklin was
elected to the Board in August 1974. He currently serves on the Board of
Directors and Audit Committee of John Wiley & Sons, Inc., and the Board
of Directors of the Baptist Foundation of Texas. He received a BA from
East Texas State University and MBA from Texas Tech University.
