Larry D. Hall

LARRY D. HALL is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of KN
Energy. He joined KN Energy in 1971 as vice president of regulatory
affairs and vice president of administrative law. In 1983, he was
promoted to senior vice president, Gas Utility Service and in 1985, he
was given the additional responsibilities of executive vice president
and became a member of the board. During this time, Mr. Hall began to
lay the groundwork for KN’s transition from a 100% regulated utility to
a fully integrated energy services company. He was elected as Chief
Executive Officer in 1994 and Chairman of the Board in 1996. Mr. Hall
obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and a Juris Doctor
degree, with honors, from the University of Nebraska. He is Chairman of
the Natural Gas Council and Director of Mountain States Employers’
Council, Inc., and the Public Education and Business Coalition.
