Kevin Daly

KEVIN DALY Chief Executive Officer of Avamar Technologies has more than
15 years of experience leading enterprise storage companies. Before
joining Avamar, Daly was CTO of Quantum Storage Solutions Group, where
he was responsible for driving the company’s technology strategy and
addressing emerging markets in network storage. Previous to holding the
CTO position, he was CEO of ATL Products, Inc. which was acquired by
Quantum Corporation in late 1998 and operated as a wholly-owned
subsidiary. While CEO of ATL Products, Daly led the company through a
successful IPO and built the company’s revenues to approximately $350 MM
in its fiscal year of 2001. Daly grew the company from 17 to more than
800 people worldwide in 2001. Prior to leading ATL Products as a
standalone company, Daly served as CEO of ATL while it was a wholly-
owned subsidiary of Odetics, Inc. and prior to that he served as CTO of
Odetics, a technology company in Anaheim, CA. Daly received his MS, MA,
and PhD in engineering from Princeton University.
