Joseph J. Fox

JOSEPH J. FOX, along with his brother Avi, founded the company. in early
1996. He has been our Chairman of the Board since the company’s
inception in September 1996, sharing that position with Avi Fox since
June 1999. He has served as co-Chief Executive Officer since June 1999
and served as President from September 1996 to June 1999. Prior to
starting Web Street, Inc., Mr. Fox was President of Darwin Financial
Group, a Chicago-based private investment-banking firm that operated
under the name A.F. Joseph & Company. Mr. Fox has been quoted and
interviewed extensively in such financial publications as Forbes ASAP,
Crain’s, Chicago Business, Fortune Magazine and Smart Money. He has
appeared on Fox News Cavuto Business Report, CNNFN, CBS Weekend News,
Fox News and Bloomberg Morning News. Mr. Fox was also asked to testify
in front of a Congress subcommittee on how online brokers are changing
the markets.
