Jonathan E. Michael

JONATHAN E. MICHAEL is the President and Chief Executive Officer of RLI
Corp., directing the operations of the RLI Insurance Group, which,
through regional offices, writes niche specialty commercial property and
liability business through wholesale brokers; personal and small
business coverages through retail agents; and miscellaneous surety bonds
through a nationwide network of retail agents. He is a member of the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Insurance
Accounting and Systems Association, and the National Association of
Independent Insurers Federal and State Tax Committee. He is on the
Boards of RLI Corp.; Maui Jim, Inc.; Eureka College; and the Illinois
Central College Educational Foundation, for which he serves as
President. He is also on the National Association of Professional
Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO) Legislative Committee and the
GeneralCologne Re Excess & Surplus Lines Market Segment Client Council.
