John P. Rohal

JOHN P. ROHAL is a Director of Research at Robertson Stephens, having
joined the firm as Managing Director in 1993. Previously, he spent 10
years as Managing Director and Co-Head of the Technology Research Group
at Alex Brown & Sons. During that time, Mr. Rohal covered the
communications and networking industry and was a member of Alex Brown &
Sons Commitment and the Select Investment Opportunities Committees. He
has extensive technology industry experience, developed over 14 years in
various sales, marketing and planning management positions starting with
IBM in the late 1960s. Mr. Rohal received a Bachelor’s degree from West
Virginia University in 1969 and an MBA from the Wharton School of
Finance at the University of Pennsylvania in 1979. He also studied law
at Georgetown University.
