John MacDonald

JOHN MACDONALD is Vice President, Investor Relations of Ivanhoe
Energy. Mr. MacDonald has nearly 23 years’ experience in the
energy industry, which has included responsibilities in financial
planning and analysis, investor relations, treasury, accounting
and auditing. He previously worked for EEX Corporation, Oryx
Energy and Sun Company before accepting his current position with
Ivanhoe in June 2001. He received his MBA from Southern Methodist
University in 1994 and earned an undergraduate degree in Finance
from Oklahoma State University.
