John Halsall

JOHN HALSALL is Chairman and Chief Executive of Shalibane Group. 49 year
old Mr. Halsall studied engineering at Oxford University where he was
awarded an M.Sc. He subsequently qualified as a chartered accountant in
the London office of Ernst & Whinney. After a period at Alusuisse, he
became Chief Financial Officer of part of Turner & Newall’s automotive
division. He was subsequently responsible for running the European
Automotive & Gasket Division. He was then recruited by Sieba Engineering
to become Chief Executive of its Filtration Division. In 1987 he
effected a management buy-in of Shalibane. John Halsall is multi-lingual
and able to conduct business in French, Italian, Spanish, German and
English. Married with two children, John and his wife Marilyn live at
Remenham on the banks of the River Thames in Berkshire.
