John H. Brown

JOHN H. BROWN has been President and Chief Executive Officer of
Integrated Biosystems, Inc., since April 2002. Prior to arriving at
Integrated Biosystems, he served as President and CEO of Covance
Biotechnology Services Incorporated in Research Triangle Park, North
Carolina (1998 to 2000) where he more than quadrupled sales. He built
such a successful and attractive business that Akzo Nobel purchased and
integrated CBSI into Diosynth in 2001. Prior to Mr. Brown’s employment
with Covance, he served as co-Chief Executive Officer of MED3000
Incorporated, a managed healthcare company of Tampa, Florida. Mr. Brown
also held various positions in Senior Management at CIBA-GEIGY
Corporation. He has a Master’s of Business Administration from Harvard
University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with high
honors from Princeton University.
