John F. Tallman

JOHN F. TALLMAN, PhD, is currently Chief Executive Officer and President
of Helicon Therapeutics, Inc. He was the Founder and Chief Scientific
Officer of Neurogen Corporation, a publicly traded NASDAQ company. In
that position, he led the advancement of a number of drugs to the clinic
with neuroscience indications. Dr. Tallman was also a member of the
neuroscience faculty at Yale University, and previously served as a
Section Chief at the National Institute of Mental Health. He is the
holder of numerous awards in neuroscience, and is the author of many
peer-reviewed papers in neuropharmacology.
