John C. Mears

JOHN C. MEARS is co-President, Chief Operating Officer and Principal
Executive Officer of Microlog Corporation. Mr. Mears joined Microlog
Corporation in August 1996 as Vice President of Product Development, and
was appointed Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer in
June 1999. Mr. Mears was instrumental in the conception and launch of
the company’s strategic uniQue’ product offering. To date, the company
has two patents pending in the technology associated with uniQue, and
Mr. Mears is the primary author of one, along with members of his
technical team. Mr. Mears was with International Business Machines (IBM)
from 1990 to 1996 in key management positions associated with the IVR,
CTI, and Network product departments. From 1978 to 1990 he held various
technical, business development, and management positions in multiple
divisions of IBM. He holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in
Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida.
