JOEL G. TISS has been with Lehman Brothers for 17 years. He has
been covering the containers and packaging industry for seven and
a half years and machinery for more than two years. Prior to his
coverage of the containers and packaging sector, he provided
analytical support for two Institutional Investor-rated
conglomerate analysts and followed many miscellaneous industrial
companies. He has placed on the Institutional Investor magazine
list consistently since he began covering the packaging group. He
has also been ranked in the Greenwich survey over the past five
years in packaging. He graduated from the State University of New
York at Cortland with a degree in Economics in 1986. He did
graduate work in Finance at Hofstra University in the mid-1990s
and has passed two levels of the CFA exam.
