JAMES BRADY has been Medical Director of RenalTech since November 1997.
His focus is on the clinical aspects of the Company’s technology,
especially issues of biocompatibility and cartridge performance. He is
responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the results of in
vitro and in vivo studies of the adsorbent polymer and cartridge
prototypes. Dr. Brady utilizes his clinical experience to investigate
additional applications of the Company’s technology, and establishes and
maintains relationships with collaborators in various medical
specialties. Dr. Brady received his M.D. from Columbia University’s
College of Physicians and Surgeons in 1992, graduating with highest
honors, and was both a General Surgery Resident and a Plastic Surgery
Resident at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital. He was elected a member of
Alpha Omega Alpha in 1992, and has received numerous distinctions and
awards in the field of medicine. Dr. Brady received his B.A. in Biology
from Amherst College in 1988.
