H. Philip Vierling

H. PHILIP VIERLING is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Empi, Inc. With over 25 years of healthcare medical device and
medical distribution experience, the past 16 years have been in
progressive management roles with Empi. Mr. Vierling received a
Bachelor of Arts degree from Covenant College and a Master of
Business Administration degree from University of South Florida.
Mr. Vierling currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the
Foundation of the American Physical Therapy Association, and of
the non-profit organization Josiah Venture. The Carlyle Group
privatized Empi in September 1999.
