GORDON A. JOHNSON, President and Chief Investment Officer, is a member
of AIC’s Board of Directors. Mr. Johnson has overall responsibility for
AIC’s investment and corporate operations. He joined the firm in 1985
and was named a member of the firm’s Investment Committee in 1986. Mr.
Johnson was promoted to Senior Vice President and Director of Research
in 1989 and started AIC’s Small Cap Equity product in 1993 and the All
Cap Equity product in 1999. Mr. Johnson was named President and CIO in
1997. He continues to manage portfolios in all product areas and has
the lead client service role. He holds a BSBA and MBA with
specialization in Finance from Southern Illinois University at
Edwardsville, where he serves as an advisor to the School of Business
and is a member of their foundation’s Planned Giving Council. Mr.
Johnson has been a live guest or quoted in reference to investment
related topics in the following media: KMOX’s Money Show, KMOV Channel
4, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the St. Louis Business Journal, the
Ladue News, the Labor Tribune, and the Illinois Business Journal. Mr.
Johnson has been seen on ‘Your World with Neil Cavuto’ on Fox News and
CNN Financial News. Mr. Johnson has been interviewed by Kiplinger’s
