Gideon Ben-Efraim

GIDEON BEN-EFRAIM, Chairman, President and CEO of Netro Corporation, has
guided the technology innovation at Netro, leading to the recent launch
of the AirStar broadband access solution for telco and data service
providers worldwide. AirStar is shipping in multiple spectrums around
the world and today Netro has more than 40 networks installed or on
order. Mr. Ben-Efraim founded Netro in 1994 and was the driving force
behind the patented, packet on demand, wireless technology. Prior to
starting Netro, he was Founder of P-Com, a publicly held digital
microwave company for cellular/PCS backhaul applications. Mr. Ben-Efraim
served as Executive Vice President of Engineering and Business
Development, where he created a corporate vision, guided the corporate
strategy and managed all aspects of product development and
introduction. Mr. Ben-Efraim has a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering
and management from Tel Aviv University.
