Gerhard Schmid

GERHARD SCHMID is the Chairman of the Board of MobilCom AG Group. Prior
to joining MobilCom in 1991, he held several executive positions
beginning with Hutschenreuther AG, where he was an Executive Assistant,
Project Manager, Strategic Planning Manager and Director (1977-1985);
Ostseebad Damp, Manager (1986-1989); and Sixt AG, Marketing and Sales
Executive (1989-1990). Mr. Schmid holds a degree in Business Studies
from the University of Nueremberg/Erlangen and the University of
Regensburg, where he majored in Data Processing, Operations Research and
Marketing. He is married and has two children.
