Gerald R. Cahill

GERALD R. CAHILL joined Carnival Corporation in 1994 as Vice President-
Finance. In January 1998 was promoted to his current position of Senior
Vice President-Finance and Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, he
is responsible for the corporation’s finance, accounting, treasury and
investor relations functions. He is also responsible for the operation
of the casinos onboard 32 ships that are under the Carnival Corporation
umbrella. Prior to joining Carnival, Mr. Cahill spent six years with
Safecard Services, Inc., a NYSE-listed company, where he served first as
Chief Financial Officer and then as Chief Operating Officer. From 1979
to 1988, he held financial posts at Resorts International, Inc., and,
prior to that spent six years with Price Waterhouse. Mr. Cahill
graduated from the University of Miami, earning his BBA degree in 1973.
