G. Edward Powell

G. EDWARD POWELL is President and CEO of PointServe, Inc. Dr.
Powell founded PointServe in 1996 with the vision of applying
economic optimization technology to service supply chain
management. For eight years prior to founding PointServe, Dr.
Powell was a Member of the technical staff at MIT’s Lincoln
Laboratory, where he developed advanced forecasting, modeling and
simulation algorithms for autonomous satellite navigation. These
algorithms now represent the core of the company’s economic
optimization technology. Dr. Powell received his PhD and MS in
Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and
a BS in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University. He is
currently a member of the President’s Information Technology
Advisory Committee.
