Edward B. Cloues

EDWARD B. CLOUES, II, 51, became Chairman of the Board of Directors and
Chief Executive Officer of K-Tron International, Inc. on January 5,
1998. He has served as a director of K-Tron since 1985 and was Vice
Chairman of the company for several years,. K-Tron, whose common stock
is listed on the NASDAQ National Market, is a global leader in the
design, production, marketing and servicing of high-quality feeders and
related equipment for the handling of bulk solids in a wide variety of
manufacturing processes. Prior to joining K-Tron, Mr. Cloues was a
Senior Partner of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, L.L.P., which is one of the
world’s largest law firms. At Morgan Lewis, he specialized in mergers
and acquisitions work and general business law counseling, representing
public and private companies of all sizes. Mr. Cloues is also a director
and non-executive Chairman of the Board of AMREP Corporation, a New York
Stock Exchange-listed company, and he was recently elected as a director
of another public company, AmeriQuest Technologies, Inc. Mr. Cloues
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard College and Juris Doctor
degree from the New York University School of Law, both with honors.
