Willem Wassernaar

DR. WILLEM WASSERNAAR, CEO of Spectral Diagnostics Inc., has a strong
background in medical businesses and related technologies which spans
more than 25 years. He was President, Ferring, Inc., from 1986 to 1994.
Dr. Wassernaar is a director of GlycoDesign Inc., AnorMED Inc. and Drug
Royalty Corporation Inc. and COO of Transplantation Technology Inc., a
company involved in the discovery of novel transplantation technologies
and therapeutic solutions to advance long term immune suppression and
immune-tolerance. Dr. Wassernaar joined Spectral’s Board in April 2000,
following a private placement and was appointed CEO in September 2000.
