Wilhelm Hoermanseder

Dr. Wilhelm Hoermanseder – Dr. Hoermanseder is Chairman and CEO of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG, the largest producer of recycled fibre-based cardboard worldwide and the leading European manufacturer of folding cartons. Based in Vienna, Austria, Dr. Hoermanseder joined Mayr-Melnhof Karton GmbH in 1990 as Director of Finance. He became CFO of Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG in 1994 and CEO and Chairman in May 2002. Prior to joining Mayr-Melnhof Dr. Hoermanseder served as an executive at Management Trust Holding AG, Vienna and was a business consultant at Ecoplan Consult GesmbH, Vienna. Before that he worked as a corporate banker at sterreichische Investitionskredit AG, Vienna. Mr. Hoermanseder holds a doctorate degree in chemical engineering from the Vienna University of Technology
