Steven R. Matzkin

DR. STEVEN R. MATZKIN currently serves as CEO and Chairman of the Board
of Dental Care Alliance, Inc., a company which he founded in 1992 and
successfully completed its initial public offering in November, 1997.
Dr. Matzkin has over 13 years of experience in the administration and
management of dental practices. He practiced dentistry in Michigan for
six years, during which time he formed Profit Dental Management
Corporation which managed over 25 dental practices throughout Michigan.
Dr. Matzkin also owned and operated five dental practices and served as
President of Golden Dental during the years 1985-1991. From 1992 to date
he has expanded this dental management network by moving to Florida and
forming Dental Care Alliance which currently manages 53 practices, 33 of
which are located in Florida, 9 in Michigan, 8 in Georgia and 3 in
Indiana. Dr. Matzkin has also been featured as a guest speaker at
regional Practice Management conferences, including the national meeting
for the National Association of Dental Plans and the American Academy of
Group Dental Practices. Dr. Matzkin earned his BA degree from the
Indiana School of Biology and his DDS degree in 1984 from Northwestern
University. He currently resides in Sarasota, Florida with his wife and
two children.
