Pavel Lazarev

DR. PAVEL LAZAREV, Founder and CTO of Optiva, Inc. Dr. Lazarev was
President of Molecular Devices and Technologies Corp. in Moscow and was
also President of Nanotechnology MDT, an atomic scale instrument
manufacturer. Earlier he spent almost two decades at the Russian Academy
of Sciences, where he was Deputy Director, and Head of the Biotechnical
Department of the Biophysics Institute. He received a M.Sc. in Chemistry
from Moscow State University; a Ph.D. in chemistry from Russian Academy
of Sciences and a Doctor of Science in biophysics from the Russian
Academy of Sciences. Dr. Lazarev is the author of over 100 scientific
papers and co-founded the Journal of Molecular Engineering and the
Journal of Molecular Materials.
