Emile Loria

DR. EMILE LORIA has served as a Director on Board of Directors of
Epimmune Inc. since January 2001. He joined Epimmune as President and
Chief Executive Officer in June 2001. From 1995 to 2000, he served as
President and Chief Executive Officer of Biovector Therapeutics, a
vaccine company. Prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer, he
served as Senior Vice President, Business Development at Biovector from
1994 to 1995. From 1986 to 1993, he was founder and Managing Director of
MS Medical Synergy, a company specialized in drug delivery. From 1978 to
1985, Dr. Loria held various positions with the pharmaceutical companies
Hoffman La Roche-Kontron, Ciba-Geigy and Sanofi Pharma. Dr. Loria
received his MD from the University of Paris Sud, Paris XI, France in
1982.
