Dorson White

DORSON WHITE, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of East
Carolina Bancorp, Inc.,, joined the bank in 1989 after tenures with Wachovia and
BB&T. Mr. White has over 36 years of banking experience including lending,
business development, and administration. Mr. White currently serves on a number
of Boards of Directors including the Elon University National Alumni Executive
Board, the Pitt County (North Carolina) Committee of 100, the PittGreenville
(North Carolina) Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of Elon University, the
North Carolina School of Banking, The Advanced Management Program at the North
Carolina School of Banking, and the LSU School of Banking of the South.
