Doros Platika

DOROS PLATIKA, M.D. is President and Chief Executive Officer of
Ontogeny, Inc. Dr. Platika brings to Ontogeny depth in medicine and
strength in the biotechnology industry. After completing his B.A. from
Reed College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and receiving his
M.D. with honors from the State University of New York at Stony Brook
School of Medicine, Dr. Platika completed residencies in medicine and
neurology at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he became Chief
Resident. He did post-doctoral study at the Whitehead Institute, MIT and
at the Massachusetts General Hospital in association with Harvard
Medical School. Dr. Platika came to Ontogeny from Progenitor inc., a
biotechnology company, where he held positions of increasing
responsibility culminating in the position of Executive Vice President
responsible for research and development.
