Diane Greene

DIANE GREENE has been the Chief Executive Officer of VMware,
Inc., since the company’s founding. Under Ms. Greene’s direction,
VMware has developed as the leader of virtualization software for
Intel computers, with more than 5,000 corporate customers and 1
million registered users worldwide. Ms. Greene has 20 plus years
of high tech industry experience that includes CEO of VXtreme and
technical leadership roles at Silicon Graphics, Tandem and
Sybase. Ms. Greene holds Master’s degrees in Computer Science and
Naval Architecture from the University of California at Berkeley
and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, respectively.
