Derek Lovelock

DEREK LOVELOCK is the Chief Executive of Oasis Stores Plc. Mr Lovelock
has extensive retail industry experience, most recently on the board of
Sears Plc. As Chief Executive of Sears Clothing Ltd, he had
responsibility for a division with a turnover of approximately GBP700
million, encompassing Wallis, Warehouse, Miss Selfridge, Richards,
Outfit and Adams Childrenwear. Prior to joining Sears in 1992, Mr
Lovelock spent eight years with Storehouse Plc where, having spearheaded
the creation of a Fashion Division that included brands such as Blazer,
Jacadi and Anonymous, he was promoted to the board in 1990 and given
responsibility for Mothercare.
