David White

DAVID WHITE was named President and CEO of Candescent Technologies in
July 1999. Mr. White joined the company in August 1995 as its Senior
Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial
Officer. From 1989 through 1995, Mr. White was Senior Vice President of
Financial Operations at Conner Peripherals, Inc. From 1984 through 1989,
Mr. White was Corporate Controller of Zehntel Inc. From 1979 to 1984, he
was employed by Digital Equipment Corporation in various capacities,
including Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis, Product-Line
Controller and Manufacturing Systems Analyst. Mr. White received his BS
in Physics from Brigham Young University in 1977 and an MBA from the
University of Washington in 1979.
