David W. Odell

DAVID W. ODELL is Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Vice President
of Hyperion Solutions Corporation. He oversees Hyperion’s financial
management and operations. Mr. Odell brings to Hyperion more than 15
years of broad, global experience in financial and IT business processes
including risk management, performance measurement and a proven ability
to develop creative solutions. Mr. Odell is spearheading an enterprise
wide initiative that will showcase the power and flexibility of Hyperion
solutions and serve as a reference site for the company’s sales force.
Prior to joining Hyperion, Mr. Odell was a Partner with KPMG, LLP, in
Sydney, Australia, where he managed finance and operations for KPMG’s
Information Risk Management Practice and had account responsibility for
Bankers Trust Australia, Australia’s largest investment bank. Mr. Odell
holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree in Accounting from
the University of Texas at Austin and is a Certified Public Accountant.
