David R. Sonksen

David R. Sonksen was recently promoted to Executive Vice President and
continues to serve as Chief Financial Officer. He had been Vice
President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Microsemi since
1986. From 1982 to 1986, he served as Vice President and Controller of
Western Digital Corp., a manufacturer of disk drives and related
products. From 1979 to 1982, he was US Operations Controller of Smith
International, Inc., a manufacturer of oil drilling tools and equipment.
From 1972 to 1977, he was Director of Finance and Accounting for
Logicon, Inc., a systems design and engineering company. Prior to this,
beginning in 1967, he was an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr.
Sonksen has a BS degree in Business from Cal State University, Long
Beach, and has been a CPA since 1972.
