David M. Eppler

DAVID M. EPPLER is Director, President and Chief Executive Officer of
CLECO Corporation. Prior to joining CLECO, Mr. Eppler was with Peat
Marwick Mitchell as a Senior Tax Specialist from 1974 to1976; Director
of Financing and Investor Relations, Public Service Company of NM,
Albuquerque, 1976. Mr. Eppler is a Board member of Southwest Power Pool;
Board of Directors, Southeastern Electric Reliability Council; Executive
Committee of Committee of 100, State of Louisiana; Alexandria Board
Member, Hibernia National Bank; past Treasurer and Campaign Chairman,
United Way of Central Louisiana, Inc.; and past President , Young Men’s
Christian Association. He received a BS in Math from the University of
New Mexico-Albuquerque in 1972, and an MBA in Accounting from the
University of New Mexico-Albuquerque in 1974.
