David L. Thompson

DAVID L. THOMPSON, CFA, Senior Vice-President, received his B.B.A. from
the University of Mississippi in 1981, and his MBA from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1986. Prior to graduate school he
was a financial analyst for Gulf Oil Corp. David began his investment
career in 1986 and has worked for major regional banks managing
portfolios for institutions and high net worth individuals. He joined
Highland Capital in May, 1995 as a senior portfolio manager and research
analyst.
