David Crane

DAVID CRANE is president and chief executive officer of MedCath. He
joined the company in 1989 as executive vice president and chief
operating officer, and assumed his current position in January 2000.
Before joining MedCath, Mr. Crane was chief operating officer of
MediVision, Inc, a firm specializing in ophthalmic outpatient surgery
centers and private surgical practices. He has also served as a business
and health care consultant for Bain & Company. Mr. Crane received his
bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a master’s degree in business
administration from Harvard Business School.
