David Deno

DAVID ‘DAVE’ DENO is Chief Financial Officer of Yum! Brands, Inc., the
world’s largest restaurant company in terms of system restaurants with
more than 33,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries and territories.
Mr. Deno oversees the treasury, tax, planning, risk management, internal
auditing and investor relations departments. He was appointed CFO in
November 1999. Mr. Deno joined Yum! Brands, Inc., after having served as
Senior Vice President and CFO for Yum! Restaurants International (YRI)
since August 1997. At YRI, in addition to his financial
responsibilities, Mr. Deno oversaw business in Central Europe and was
responsible for restructuring the YRI business. Previously, he served as
Senior Vice President and CFO for Pizza Hut, Inc. He joined Pizza Hut in
1991 as Vice President and Controller. In 1994, he moved into general
management and became the Division Vice President for the Southeast
Division, based in Florida. Before joining the company, Mr. Deno was
with the Burger King Corp. and Pillsbury Company from 1982 to 1991. He
held positions at both companies in finance, real estate and business
development. Mr. Deno holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and
Political Science from McAlester College and an MBA from the University
of Michigan.
