Daryl H. Connolly

DARYL H. CONNOLLY, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of
Tikal Resources Corp., is a Professional Engineer with 30 years of oil
and gas experience, 10 years of which was as Founder and CEO of HCO
Energy Ltd. HCO was started as a Junior Capital Pool on the Alberta
exchange in October 1987 with $125,000 of seed capital. Mr. Connolly
sold HCO in September 1997 for $260 million. Prior to that, he held
Senior Executive positions at Wainoco Oil & Gas, Bluesky Oil & Gas, and
Bralorne Resources. He has lived and worked throughout western Canada,
the western United States and in Copenhagen, Denmark. Mr. Connolly is a
member of Petroleum Engineers, Geologist and Geophysicists in Alberta, a
registered Professional Engineer in Alberta and British Colombia, a
member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in the United States and a
member of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. He graduated
from Queens University at Kingston with an honor degree in Applied
Science-Chemical Engineering in 1969.
