Dan Manna

DAN MANNA attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics, where he
received an Aircraft Mechanics License, and began a lifelong love of
airplanes and flying. Pursuing his desire to learn more about airplanes,
Mr. Manna first came to the mid-west to attend Parks College of St.
Louis University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Aeronautical Engineering. He later attended graduate school at the
University of Missouri, earning a Masters Degree in Engineering
Management. Immediately after college, Mr. Manna first worked for the
Defense Department as a flight test engineer, and later as an
Engineering Project Manager for various military aircraft programs. He
came to Springfield to join the Paul Mueller Company as a Product
Development Engineer in 1976. He quickly worked his way through the
Engineering Organization at Mueller becoming Vice President after
several years, and was elected President of the company in 1982. Over
the years, Mr. Manna has been active in the community as a former
Chairman of the Springfield Branson Regional Airport Board, Director of
the Springfield Business Development Corporation, advisor to Students in
Free Enterprise, member of the Drury College Executive Advisory Council,
past Chairman of the Ozarks Chapter of the Young Presidents
Organization, and is currently a Director of Springfield City Utilities.
He was also recently awarded a Professional Degree by the University of
Missouri in recognition of his accomplishments in the field of
Engineering Management.
