Dale Sakai

DALE SAKAI is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Confer
Software, Inc. Prior to joining Confer Software, Mr. Sakai was
instrumental in developing the application integration industry at
Active Software, a leading provider of integration software products
that help enterprises link disparate information resources. Under his
leadership, Active Software was chosen by Upside magazine as one of the
Top 10 Private Companies to watch. Mr. Sakai also was a member of the
turnaround team at IBM Corp., where he managed the database and
application development tools businesses. Additionally, he was a Founder
and Principal of Aspen Group, a software consulting organization. Mr.
Sakai holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Management and a Bachelor’s
Degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University. He also
earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics and English from Amherst College.
